We are a newly established charity dedicated to improving the welfare, education, and healthcare of vulnerable first time pregnant women and young mums and their babies.

A Message From Our Founders

A Message From Our Founders

Welcome to Kintsugi Ministries, we are passionate about caring for the vulnerable young women in our community who do not possess permanent visas or citizenship.

We provide practical, emotional and spiritual support for first time pregnant women and young mothers and their babies. Our precious clients have no other means of support from family or the father of the baby. On entry to our charity our clients are ineligible for any government funding due to their visa status.

Help us change the lives of these young ladies and their babies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Kintsugi Ministries was born out of our desire to honour God and care for the vulnerable people in our community. We saw the great needs of the pregnant young women who had nobody to support and care for them at this crucial time in their lives.

Kintsugi Ministries heard God's words in James 2:15-16: "Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?"

God has blessed us with the ability to help these precious young women and their babies, and we do this work to the glory of God alone.

Soli Deo Gloria

God placed the concept of Kintsugi Ministries on our hearts many years ago. With much prayer we then awaited God's guidance for this ministry. Kintsugi Ministries was incorporated on the 12th of January 2026, although the work of caring for the mothers and babies began back in March 2025 when our first clients joined us.

Please consider supporting us in this important work. Your donation will go towards much needed supplies like nappies, formula as well as antenatal and postnatal care that our clients cannot afford.

Please send your donations to:

Acc Name: Kintsugi Ministries Inc

BSB: 034 182

Acc Number: 366817

We are in the process of setting up an account with the Raisely fund raising platform and will provide the details when this is up and running.

The greatest need we have is the need for prayer, please pray for God's blessing on the mothers and babies, and for continued opportunities to support more young mothers in need.

We are currently applying for ACNC registration, this process can take a number of weeks to complete.

Upon ACNC registration we will then apply for DGR status with the ATO. After we receive this we will be able to receive tax deductible donations.

Sally's Story

At 23, when I found out I was already 4 months pregnant , I was nowhere near ready to become a mother. I was still studying and living far away from my parents. I was scared and had so many thoughts running through my mind. I didn't know what to do, I was lost and confused because I had no family here to support me. I was so frightened of telling my family about my pregnancy knowing how my Dad and brothers would react.

During moments of despair, thoughts and temptations of having abortion I was suddenly overcome by God's profound presence that surrounded and embraced me. Although, I felt I was alone, Jesus was already there, bringing comfort and people of godly hearts who loved and accepted me without judging the situation I was in. From that time on I became the first client of Kintsugi Ministries.

Kintsugi Ministries have supported me every step of the way with my pregnancy until I gave birth to my baby girl, who now is 6 months old. Apart from supporting me and bub, Kintsugi have helped me in so many ways like teaching me how to drive, finding work, providing for my needs. And most importantly encouraging me to take part in church activities to grow in my faith and most of all they loved and treated both bub and I like family which I will forever be grateful for.
